Week 7 Results

Last week wasn't great, but not too bad. I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep all of the weight off after my bad Chinese food incident last week, but my results today were better than I hoped. I was expecting to be in the 180s, so I was surprised to see a 7 in my number. :) I also overcame a huge temptation which I'm proud of. I made goodies for a baby shower this week and didn't lick the bowl ONCE. I have NEVER done that, especially when it's brownies! The only thing I did was taste the frosting to make sure it was ok since it was left over from the week before. I also made sure not to pig out at the shower and I didn't bring ANY leftovers home with me. WOW! Progress...

On the down side, I only exercised once last week. I haven't been getting great sleep and the last thing I want to do is exercise when I'm tired. However, I know I need to do it and will feel better for it. Well, here's what you've been waiting for:

  2. OK girl! I am back on the bandwagon with you. I was doing SO good for a while, and have gotten WAY out of control.
    SO--we can encourage one another. Today is a fresh start for me. All I can say is that when I exercise...I feel SO much better in every way (it affects my mood more than I care to admit). That being said...the mornings come way too early. If there is something I can help with, say, do, recommend...let me know. I will help you if you help me! :) You ARE doing great. You haven't given up, right???

  3. I'm glad you liked the brownies, Amanda. It was super fun :) A few adjustments to that recipe and I think it'll be my new favorite!

    GREAT, Jill! I'm so excited! I've found that exercise is a great stress reliever and have noticed a difference the last week or so because I haven't been doing it as much. If I've been grumpy, that's why :) Let's do it!! I'll definitely encourage you, too! Nope, haven't given up. I hope to get in a bathing suit (and feel comfortable in it) this summer. Yay!!
